The purpose of the General Nursing Programme is to prepare a general nurse who will function as a member of the health team beginning with competencies for the first level position in both the hospital and community.

The program is geared to the health needs of the country, the community, and the individual; and it will serve as a basis for advanced study and specialization in nursing; it will serve as the basis for advanced study and specialization in Nursing; it will assist nurses in their personal and professional development so that they may make their maximum contribution to the society as individual citizens and nurses.

Course overview
  • Program Duration: 3 Years & 6 Months covering intensive theory classes, attending observation and supervised practice.
  • Admissions are available for both Boys & Girls.
  • Hostel facilities are available for both Boys & Girls.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Pass in PUC / 10+2 or equivalent
  • Must have completed 17 years of age by 31st December of the year of admission.
Documents Required
  • Mark list of 10th, 12th and qualifying examination.
  • Migration Certificate in original.
  • Five Passport Size Photos.
  • DOB | Any age Proof.
  • Transfer Certificate or School Leaving Certificate.
